FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Super Negin saffron?

Super Negin is the highest grade of saffron available. It features long, thick, deep red threads with no yellow or orange parts. It has an intense aroma, rich color, and powerful flavor — far superior to lower grades commonly found in grocery stores.

How do I know your saffron is authentic?

Every batch of Milizo Saffron is tested and certified to Grade A+ Super Negin standards in accordance with ISO 3632 — the international standard for saffron quality. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available upon request.

Where does your saffron come from?

Our saffron is sourced from family farms in Herat, Afghanistan — one of the most celebrated saffron-growing regions in the world, known for producing some of the finest saffron on earth.

How much saffron should I use?

A little goes a long way! For most recipes, just a small pinch (about 20–30 threads) is enough to flavor and color a dish serving 4–6 people. We recommend steeping the threads in warm water, broth, or milk for 15–20 minutes before adding to your recipe to get the most out of the flavor and color.

How should I store saffron?

Store your saffron in an airtight container away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. A cool, dark pantry or cupboard is ideal. Properly stored saffron can retain its potency for up to 2–3 years.

Do you offer a refund or return policy?

Yes! If you're not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and we'll make it right. Your satisfaction is our priority.

How long does shipping take?

We typically process and ship orders within 1–3 business days. Delivery times vary by location but are generally 3–7 business days within the US.
